| Duty Free Goods / Departure Lounge Purchases |
| |
| If you've been shopping in the departure lounge you are allowed to carry these purchases onto the plane as hand luggage. Should you be purchasing liquids the 100ml limit does not apply. |

These purchases will be wrapped in a sealed bag that must not be opened until you've reached your final destination.
Also retain your receipt to show, if required at transfer points. |

| Whilst you can carry goods bought in duty free great than 100ml there are still restrictions on duty free purchases to adhere to. |

| Travelling from an airport in the EU, Norway, Iceland or Switzerland: |
| The arrangements outlined above apply. Please note that larger cabin bags will be permitted in some member states on a transitional basis until April 2007, when the maximum size permitted (length 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm) will be in force at all airports in the EU. |

Transit Passengers - special information |
| |
| Should you have to change flights at an EU airport, certain restrictions apply. Liquid items (for example duty free) can only be taken through the security check point at your connecting airport if: |

- they conform to requirements of passengers departing from EU airports as set out above; or
- they've been bought airside at another EU airport, or on an EU flight. You will have to show proof of purchase to demonstrate this.
